SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION

The Cramerton Police Department Support Services Division is charged with all law enforcement services not provided by the Department’s Operations Division. The support services division conducts follow-up investigations on criminal activity reported within the Cramerton and McAdenville Town limits. The division houses the Juvenile Resource and Code Enforcement offices. In addition to those duties the division is also responsible for ABC Enforcement within Cramerton, Internal Affairs Investigations, Background Investigations, Training, and Records Management.

Frequently referred to as detectives, all officers of the Support Services Division
started their law enforcement careers as uniformed patrol officers and have been assigned to the division based upon their knowledge, experience, and investigative ability. Detectives are responsible for locating and interviewing victims and witnesses; locating identifying and preserving physical evidence; recovering stolen property; identifying, locating, interviewing and arresting criminal suspects; and presenting criminal cases to the District Attorney for prosecution.
